Weird and delightful story about a young man with a special talent. He keeps an entire virtual world going inside his mind. He's always connected to the network, so people from all over spend time in the huge world he's providing. It kind of takes its toll on him, though...and unpleasant things start happening in the world he thought he controlled completely. Very interesting stuff about creativity, art, how our minds might work. Very well drawn, with the art contributing essential qualities to the story. Possibly the best thing this ingenious and skilled author has created.

It became very apparent somewhere in the middle of the book that there would be no true conclusion at the end and that the book would be set up for a sequel. This did annoy me a bit since I'm sure it will be a long while until the sequel comes out. But I liked the book and the characters so I will read the next book when it comes out.

It's kind of childish, but in a way I guess thats good for my inner kid. It kept me reading and it was pretty fun to read, even though it bugs me how stupid the characters can get at certain points. Like I said, its the kind of drama for a younger audience.

What an amazing little book! It was inspiring to see the magic that surrounds the presidency in childrens' eyes. They really believe Obama can stop homelessness, end the war, save the environment, stop rising gas prices, and fill the White House with root beer (and I mean literally -- so that people could ride around in boats with giant straws), and mashed potatoes and chocolate (but not together). I laughed aloud many times. A great quick read.
