This was such a fun read. Neil Strauss does a good job at looking at the PUAs from a very human perspective. I really appreciated the sensitive approach he took on a topic that is normally deconstructed in a a-mogg kind of way.

it is a great book and i enjoyed reading it over my summer vacation.
As an aspiring primary school teacher I thought today I needed to 'find out what all the fuss is about' and read The Gruffalo by Julia Donaldson. This is worth the hype and is a great children’s picture book. The Gruffalo is fun, well written and has lovely illustrations. The story follows in a long line of children’s tails where the main character meets a plethora or differing characters and tells a lie. However, unlike most books, in this story the end the main character doesn't meet his comeuppance, in the end he thinks fast on his feat and the book ends in a fun and unexpected manner, I can see myself reading this with many many children in the future.

Oh my god...how lame is this book????? The worst kind of chick lit! I think I lost IQ points just reading it.

Ishiguro is AWESOME!
Rereading for Bookends as our Long Summer Read and thoroughly enjoying it all over again. Now with time and experience under my belt, it reads a little differently. The characters have not aged even though I have. Perspective is a good thing. Who am I relating to? Stiff Nancy, or Penelope? Hummm

Loved this book! I couldn't put it down as much as I wanted to. & this just got me: "Anyway, I keep picturing all these little kids playing some game in this big field of rye and all. Thousands of little kids, and nobody's around - nobody big, I mean - except me. And I'm standing on the edge of some crazy cliff. What I have to do, I have to catch everybody if they start to go over the cliff - I mean if they're running and they don't look where they're going I have to come out from somewhere and catch them. That's all I do all day. I'd just be the catcher in the rye and all. I know it's crazy, but that's the only thing I'd really like to be." YOU GOTTA READ IT.
I loved the angst <3

Great imagination, stories and characters, but J.K Rowling needs an editor. After the first book, sentences got too long, and adjectives began to overrun the language. I'll still read the last one, eventually.

This is a book that made me ask a lot of what if questions. Easily read in a day, but one that could be savored over time with a good cup of coffee on a rainy day. Let it sink in. Think.
