At times it got a bit dry, but I learned so much about understanding different cultures. Posed some amazingly challenging moral dilemnas. Makes you think a lot about right and wrong - many people in the book tried to do the right thing in a circumstance where it was really difficult to know how best to do that.

I enjoyed the second book of the Percy Jackson series, but to be honest it wasn't that good in my opinion. I like the writing style of Rick Riordan and I like the main story, but I expected more from this book. I liked it but the story didn't made me feel closer to events like the first book.

I thought this book was much better than the first one, atleast that what I thought. I liked the characters with the exceptions of shay. This was a really quick read, and had a good enough storyline.

If I go by the two-star definition, which is "it was ok," I have to give this two stars. I had high hopes for this book, but found it tedious. The main characters drove me nuts! I really enjoyed some of the historical background of WWII that I learned, particularly of the Blitz in London, but that didn't make up for the slow story.

Dua bintang aja deh.. karena setelah melewati waktu yang cukup lama sejak saya membacanya, ternyata cukup sulit untuk membongkar ingatan saya mengenai isi buku ini. Hal ini menandakan bahwa isi ceritanya sendiri kurang menarik bagi saya, dan tidak dapat melekat kuat di memori saya. Salah satunya mungkin karena visualisasi yang kurang, yang bagi saya merupakan komponen penting dalam buku skenario. Lain dengan novel yang seringkali memiliki deskripsi yang kuat sehingga kita dapat membangun bayangan sendiri terhadap cerita yang disampaikan. It was ok lah.
