This graphic novel has an interesting enough story - a cautionary tale about heroin use wrapped up in a fight between queens Mab and Titiana - but for me the best thing about this book are the illustrations which are absolutely beautiful and amazing.

I really enjoyed this book. The chapter on health care decision making was especially enlightening to me. I did feel the author repeated himself excessively.

This an easy to read, straight forward guide to writing your own high school transcripts. I was a little intimidated when she showed 3 years of latin and calculus on her sons' transcripts, but she really is encouraging about any parent's ability to not only homeschool through high school, but to also prepare transcripts that will get your kid into college.

This book is really funny, ha-ha and the other. At first I was cracking up out loud. Then it got kind of repetitive, which is ironic, considering it is about her obsessive-compulsive disorder. I guess that's the point. It was still was funny ha-ha towards the end, but not as enjoyable as the beginning. There is a distinct part where it loses some steam.

I liked "Midnight" better, but that's probably because I've been there and had seen all the locations. This one did make me want to go to Italy even more and to add Venice to the list of cities to visit.

i thought this book was an engaging and moving read. the olden day circus story line paints a vivid and engrossing picture of a foreign (but somehow familiar) world, while the modern day nursing home aspect is illuminating, poingnant, and just plain important to read, i think. the ending was kind of all tied up with a little bow, but that's okay sometimes, i guess.
