I enoyed this a lot. However I read it years ago. I'd like to recommend "A Tree Grows In Brooklyn".

Wow, what an interesting and informative book! Using entertaining poems, beautiful art, and succinct facts, this book teaches about some of the most successful life-forms on earth. I wish it had a different cover, though. I honestly thought it looked really boring, but once I started reading it, I loved it.
Given to me by a friend to read and release. It actually wasn't bad.
This was weird - it had so many things wrong with it - clunky narrator, totally unrealistic bits that pulled me out of the story and yet there was something in it which made me really like it. Characterisation was good and there was a nice warmth about the story telling plus bits that made me laugh out loud. Hope to get the next one in the series.

This book is laugh out loud funny!
Not really sure what to say. I don't mind vampires stories, but this is a little more. The one thing I did not like is that so many things were thrown at you with little explanation. I found out that alot of the confusing situations are later explained in the second, third, fourth, etc. I really don't like the fact that I have to read the other books just to get an understanding of the first book.

A reminiscence of a model's youth and the person least-likely to have a lasting impact on her. I liked this book--can't decide how many stars to give it--i was influenced by the average listed when I looked the book up, and now can't decide how many stars it deserves. I liked the set up, the flashbacks to different periods in the protags life juxtaposed with the happens of her current day-to-day existence. It felt cinemagraphic. The book is pretty hot, not as hot as "Secretary," but still hot. Good read. Some semi-serious summer reading. Very stern author portrait. Anne--Thanks for sending it to me.
It is a privilege to witness an ego as big as Rolfe's, excuse me, Baron Corvo's in action.

The truth about the FLDS culture, given from a previous insider, is utterly disturbing. To think people are being brainwashed to such an extent is painful to read about. I had a hard time reading about the abuse to women and children knowing it is believed, by them, to be "God's will." Although, that said, if you are at all curious about the FLDS culture/religion, this is a good book to pick up. It was written by a women born in an FLDS community and was married at the age of 18 to a 50 some odd year old man and bore him 8 children before escaping.
