I must admit, it is not my most absolute favorite John Green book, but I did fall in love with his half of the book (obviously, I'm a huge John Green fan). Overall, the story was very entertaining and fun to read. In fact I truly believe that both Green and Levithan are excellent authors, but I kind of felt that I didn't really enjoy their collaboration. I love the idea of two strangers who happened to have the exact same name just coincidentally bump into each other one day, causing an impact in one another's lives even if they don't exactly participate in either one. The connection between Green's Will Grayson and Jane are just so heartfelt and cheesy in-the-least-annoying-way, that I always found myself holding my breath and re-reading each line until I am able to play the scene in my head. I just fell in love with their relationship... and it reminded me of why I love John Green's writing oh so much. The relationship he creates between a boy and a girl are always so irresistibly addictive. It is simply pure bliss to my heart and soul. I believe this is the first book I've read that makes a point of emphasizing a homosexual love, so I have nothing to compare it to. But I have to say that it wasn't at all that hard to adapt to. It did feel a little weird a few times... but that weirdness helped me understand the characters and realize how difficult it must be for those actually facing problems like those portrayed in the novel today. However, Levithan's Will Grayson was not the easiest character to like in my opinion which is unfortunate because I really wanted to like him. On a brighter note, the ending was amazing and Tiny is an adorable, yet badass character --who happens to be "the life of the party" if I might had. The novel is full of fantastic character developments, stunning sarcastic remarks, impeccable life-changing quotes, hilarious events all tied together on a string of emotions and reality, and with much more to offer. I love the fact that Green and Levithan managed to form this epic theme of love in itself, branching out into relationships, friendships, and the capability one holds of loving oneself. Also, I highly suggest you read the authors' conversation at the end because it's awesome!!! (Other reasons I really liked the book: the mention of the movie "All Dogs Go to Heaven," one of my childhood all-time favorites, and the production of a high school musical! So cool)
