The graphics are great. There seemed to be a bit of everyone in this book - a heap of the Justice League and an abundance of their enemies (incidentally, there was some character profiles (mostly villains) in the back that helped me out because I am still not incredibly knowledgable of all the different heroes and villains). Yes siree, all the main guys made an appearance. The story line is hard to critique, because it is really only a beginning, so I will have to read the remaining two volumes before making a proper judgment. This was a bit confusing and jumpy at times, but that be my comic book (ahem, graphic novel) ineptitude.

The novel takes place in Southern France and that is perhaps my favorite thing about this book. The sense of place is exquis et magnifique. J'adore le sud du France. However, when I started reading the novel, I thought that it was a little unbelievable that the letters would actually be written in such a manner. I had to think: was letter writing the most effective way to write this story? Et puis, the readers experience practically no courtship between Tim and Catherine. They are all of a sudden in love after a summary of afternoons spent together. Forget the summary- je veux the details- I wanted to see more of it. Although with that said, I was constantly drawn to the book to see what would happen next. Au cause de touts les choses francais! Maybe the letters were effective... je ne sais pas. Alors, I loved the character, Tim, but I was disappointed that we never really get to know Catherine. All in all, it was a good read and I may move back to Southern France sooner than planned.

Yeah, these Clone Wars digests aren't high art, but they are fun. This time around Aayla Secura gets the spotlight as she's trapped in an asteroid belt that's home to a war profiteer and the former Padawan who wants to kill him. Said war profiteer is a pretty generic villain, but Shon-Ju, the former Padawan, is a great new character I hope they do more with. After leaving the Jedi Order because he was never made a Knight, Shon-Ju started honing his Force powers without a lightsaber. Only using his hands and the Force, Shon-Ju now wants to kill war profiteer Atuma Duum. Shon-Ju believes this will embarrass the Jedi Order and thus he'll gain some measure of revenge for them not making him a Knight. Like I said, it isn't high art. But I liked the idea of Force users training outside the direction of the Jedi or the Sith and I hope they do more with them.

International Business Basics: Learn What You Need in 2 Hours Thư viện Sách hướng dẫn

I was drawn in from the first page as Connie is going through oral exams. As she accidentally found the name Deliverance Dane and followed up by tracking information, the reader is transfixed as to whether Deliverance was going to turn out to have been a witch in Salem in 1691-92, or was she somehow caught up in the witch hysteria that permeated that time. Anyone interested in a tie between the 20th century and the Salem witch trials will enjoy this book. I'm anxious to see what this writer tackles next.

I really liked this book. It was the sequel to another, and I liked this one way better. The kids in it were 7th graders, like us, and they seemed a lot more mature than they did in the first book in this series. I think it was really good and more interesting than the first one. I can relate to it and I thought it was really true. I gave it 4 stars.
