I would highly recommend this book. I was there- I felt like I was a part of it. She is an amazing story teller. I have such empathy for all who were involved in this true story. They went through more then most ever do in a life time and came out pretty well from what it sounds like. I applaud the writer as well as all the members of this story. This should be made into a movie. IT should be viewed by all. We all need to appreciate the freedoms we have and honor those that work and worked yrs ago to have us keep our freedoms. My Father was a medic in WWII and we lost him this past Oct. I am now researching what his life experience were in Germany and France back then thru various avenues I have found. He never wanted to talk about it all. I now, truly understand why. My hat is off to you all... Thank you for sharing this story with the world. Carol

So many young wizard & witch hormones erupting everywhere. So many fantastic expansions of the world in this one, and broadening of the backstory and motivations of so many characters we already knew or knew about. Hermione's arc in this book is as as important as Harry's, and the relationships between all three of the heroes are allowed rockier times than before and maturation upon resolution. It hardly sets this one apart from the others to say that the final act still gives me goosebumps and thrills like a first reading, but it should still be said. We've seen before, but it's especially effective here, how Rowling creates the rules of her world and then manages to shock and astound within that framework. I think writing an excellent mystery novel is hard enough for any writer, but Rowling doubles down by first doing an incredible amount of world building (by three books in the Lion's share is done) and then writing an excellent mystery novel that fits seamlessly into, without feeling like it necessitated, that world.

Following on from the well-known folk story of the ‘Three Little Pigs’ Tony Bradman cleverly creates really nice a new story, brought right up to date in ‘Three Little Pigs Go Camping’. The story follows the oldest of the 3 little pigs and is a lovely tail of sibling relationships, what I take from this story is the message of trying new things and doing things out of one’s comfort zone, a relatively new concept in this type of book. The illustrations were really nice and the story had a lovely rhythm helping keep the reader engrossed to the end, a real feel good book.

Jodi Picoult is my favorite author and she always will be! She continues to release a new book every March that is heartwrenching, issue driven, intriguing, educational and a true page turner. She paints such a vivid picture of each character that you are attached to them and the story from page 1. Without giving anything away, Sing You Home, deals with a heterosexual married couple's struggles with infertility and the rights of a homosexual couple to have a child and live a typical married life. She serves these issues well and as an added bonus (which was not as good as I would have hoped), there is a cd included with original music written for the book, as one of the main characters is a singer/music therapist. I highly recommend this book!
