One of my all-time favorites. Gonna re-read it this summer for the first time since 1994. After re-reading it, I still really love it, but not in the same way I did when I was younger. This didn't even feel like it was my book - it felt more like a 17-year-old me loaned it to 29-year-old-me.

Four friends and their life together in college as sorority sisters who come together again later in life after a bit of an estrangement. I thought this was so well-written with great characters, emotion and understanding of human nature. I really liked how it ended and felt resolved myself with all the issues that were the theme throughout the story.

Yes... it is highly predictable. Yes... seems to be based on the Jennifer Aniston/Brad Pitt split. But... I still do love SEP - she just has a way of drawing me in and making me care about the characters.

The first time I read this was in my 9th grade Literature class, but we didn't actually read all of the play; this time, I did. I was suprised at how the images kinda popped into my head, like I could actually see a few things. I couldn't imagine the fights though! I like the story, even if it's kinda (and by kinda, I mean extremely) hard to completely comprehend, and the fact that's it's totally insta-love, but hey, that's Shakespeare.

** spoiler alert ** OMG. I've been saving this book for a bit of a rainy day, and I'm glad. I finished it in a big gobbling rush. I like where this series is going, and cannot wait for the next book. BOOOO WAITING FOR NEXT BOOK! BOO! I'm glad my book had the first chapter of Angel Town. It eased a bit of my OMGWHATHAPPENSNEXT OHHHHH! AIEEEEE! Unlike others, I don't find it odd that Kismet's running around and falling into traps left, right, & centre. I don't think she manages to actually finish a meal in her mad panic. Her perfectly reasonable mad panic to find her true love.

This book was definitely original. The character was somewhat interesting but I found the book a little repetitive and boring. It's worth reading, but it was not one of my favorites. It's very creative.
