This book is awesome fun. Ostensibly for analyzing romantic entaglements through astrological birth charts, you can actually apply the advice to co-worker, friend, and familial relationships. Plus you will totally memorize your own birth chart after comparing it against everyone you know.

A classic for a reason. This book will stand the test of time. A great story of friendship, integrity and coming of age.

A little tough to get into. But I enjoyed the final 150 pages or so.

OK, Alien meets Vampires, this author has some serious issues defining "relationships" - awful message being put out to teenagers

I need to read this again. I was in the 7th grade when I read this and I didn't really understand it then.

It was a great read, but I felt like parts of the story were left out....Humm...because my sister gave me the abridged version. Read the real novel!
Such a terrific read! Definitely one for book club discussions!

This book has so much depth to it, so many tangents to persue, and yet it's possible to fly through it, enjoying the stories even as you imagine the layers of meaning underneath. The conversations that the characters have with each other bypass the usual habits and formalities and are thrilling in their pulling together of all the knowledge they've soaked up. The knowledge the mother and son have doesn't stay in books, it infuses their experiences in mythical, funny and sad ways.
This is such a cool series by James Patterson. TickTock is the 4th of the Mike Bennett books (Step on a Crack; Run for Your Life; Worst Case). Mike a NYPD detective who deals with the terrorist when they appear and takes care of 10 children and has a semi-love life with the nanny, Mary Catherine. This book has a copycat killer on the loose and parts are sad and squeamy. Think you will enjoy. Quick read too.

Wow, looking back this book is very early 2000s, but it was so cool when I first read it. I mean, a book entirely in instant messages? That was interesting. It's still innovative in a way if not very dated. I'm not sure anyone instant messages anymore. Texts definitely. Snapchats most likely. Maybe even Facebook messages if it's to someone over 30. But not instant messages. I laughed my head off the other day when I heard my brother talking about how he used to use AOL chat to talk to girls. He is so old! Still, this series is fun and engaging if you can just imagine it as a group text instead of instant message. I primarily communicate with my friends in group texts so it's not even that much of stretch. tffn is probably my favorite book in the series. You have some pretty serious drama going on between friends, and it just felt like Myracle stepped it up for the sequel. Recommended!
