Not particularly well-written or researched, and at times a little redundant. It doesn't really reveal any major sociological breakthroughs or even offer any real solutions to the problems we face at this phase of our lives. What it DOES do, is provide a sense of community for those of us who feel very alone as we struggle to make sense of our lives as "adults." If you feel like everyone else is successful and has it together and that everything you're doing is wrong, this book will show you, through dozens of stories from people who are more f---ed up than you, that it's something everyone goes through. And that you will get through it. It's comforting, if no that insightful, and sometimes it helps just to have someone put a name to what you've been feeling.

Very realistic-seeming dialogue for teens. Well-written, lots o' honest angst without being melodramatic or over the top. The "last words obsession" is a great idea, and the narrator (Miles) is very believable, smart, likeable, and flawed.
Good fiction written in the form of a historical/religious fables based on the life of Sigmar. I enjoyed it.
I received this book through the giveaway and enjoyed this book tremendously. I find the content very useful. The creams were all very practical and do not seem difficult to make.... Definitely a terrific alternative to the over-chemical world today...
I just enjoy the whole series-fun to read.

Although this book is not about a serial killer or multiple homicides like many of Michael Connelly's books, I still found it to be an interesting character study with a well developed plot.

I found the book interesting - a story of a women's life living in a huge estate in sicily right after WWII. However I found her a bit aristocratic for my tastes - thought she always said how hard it was to get by trying to take care of the house yet she had 3 servants, a cook, driver and gardener - definitely a different time and social strata - I had a hard time identifying with her and her famous and privileged friends and visitors. I admired her spunk in dealing with a tough culture and society and not giving up - Didn't finish the book. But felt I gleaned some insight and knowledge into a different culture and era.

Life changing. Totally redefined my concepts of development, economics, and freedom. Must read for those interested in development, international relations, or life.
As good as it's title implies ... this is a book for World Builders. I was honored to be part of the process that brought this book to print. I contributed to some of the sections in the book. Overall, if you're looking for a book of easy to read, sectioned lists for everything from tree types to justice systems or rocks ... this is a great resource.
