This book is one of my son's favorites! Although there doesn't look like there's much to it, it does a great job helping toddlers preschoolers learn numbers, shapes, colors, and opposites. My son tore some of the flaps off years ago, but I don't dare take this one away from my four-year-old...he still loves it!

Light and fun! I like picking-up P.G. Wodehouse when I'm looking for a quick, funny read. The ending in this one is a little disappointing/perplexing (an inconsistency is left unexplained). Maybe I'll catch it if I read it again.

The book gives some underlying principles in terms of attitude and commitment for the "IT guys" to become "professionals". Needless to say that sometimes business enforces violation of some of the described practices, thus not everything described is applicable. It's good for beginners/intermediate (time-being-empoyeed rather than programming skills) software developers.

I didn't love it, i didn't hate it but I sure was confused until I got into the rhythm of his writing style. It is written in the Irish accent, much like Trainspotting is written in the Scottish accent, so once you get used to that as well as the major run-on sentences it's alright. Francie, the main character/narrator, is mentally ill so it takes you through a mentally ill person's mind which can be quite confusing at times because you have to figure out what is real and what is all in his head. I enjoyed it more towards the end- but I did struggle through it.

** spoiler alert ** 3.5 ok so these books are great. this one was nice, i liked the intrigue of the break off group of fed agents who wanted to kill the weres and have them assasinate some senator dude. it was cray. i liked the part where mercy had to fight for marcilia the vamp in order to help kill the necromancer vamp who'd twist ghosts and bind them to him, then eat them. i'm bummed that peter died cuz he was sweet and it sucks cuz honey is mean on the best of days so i cant imagine that it'll be any more fun to be around her now that her mate is dead but at least mercy saved his soul from the necromancer and was able to bring him to be at peace. good book, phenomenal writing as always!
