Shame really, I started out very high on this series. But by the middle point of this book all I was thinking was "blah blah blah". *sigh* That bit reads just like Feehan. Bored am I. Yawn. Series wrap up, bring the entire cast onto the stage for a final bow. Maybe I would've liked it better if I had read it closer to the rest of the series. Maybe I still have such a bad taste in my mouth from the final Shadowdwellers book that it's tainting this book too. Not entirely sure what happened, but I doubt I'll be buying more Frank in the future. I may pick one up at the library, but likely only if it's right in front of me and I'm in the mood to stock up on reading material.

I've been rereading the series before reading the two new ones.

Excellent. It was amazing to me how the U.S., as well as western Europe, thought in the mid '30s that Hitler would soon be overthrown or that he was really a positive force in Germany when, in fact, the horror had already begun.
An excellent installment in the Miles Vorkosigan series. Miles at his best in the intriguing Cetagandan empire. I enjoyed it even more the second time around.

A series of short stories that link together to tell the story of a Sri Lankan family over the course of a few generations. Simply loved it.

I just loved this. I always thought that they my French (well, Mauritian) heritage was buried somewhere within me, and now I know that there ARE French bits to me. I'm gonna work on strengthening those, coz now I know how! It also helped me understand that standoffishness that I've always wondered about in French girls......that's not what it is at all, and that makes me love them even more.
Given to me as a gift, an enthralling read about the recorded atrocities in Chechnya. Horrors abound but the courage of this reporter keeps you turning the pages.
Unfortunatly not a good read at all. Story looses itself in the back blog. Defiinately not one of Feist's better works
