The author has a great story line and plot though his writing style seems to need some help(?). It took a minute to really get into the book but overall this was a great read.

The first Rand book I read, and the shortest, it gives perhaps the most condensed and simplest to understand version of her theories. It's also incredibly quick to read (as in 3 hours or less), and will inspire. One of the best lines..."this miracle of me is mine."

I first saw this on the Hallmark Channel on weekend after noon. When I learned that this was based on an inspiring set of novels I ran out and bought the first collectors edition containing the first four books in the series. Love Comes Softly is an outstanding story of love, compassion, and grace.

First read this in undergrad. I find the story so captivating that it has stuck with me and I have re-read on more than one occasion.

Columbine by Dave Cullen was surreal. He did an absolutely incredible job of putting all the pieces, all the media, all the crap together. He got rid of the rumors, the mistakes and explained what happened. I really, really, really, enjoyed this book.
His books on Acts is great. I would like to see how he did on Hebrews.

Completely excellent. Gritty and disturbing. Contained a fantastic plot with an ending I did not suspect. Can't wait to move on to the next book in the trilogy.

It's rare in today's world to find anyone who would give up their job for the sake of their children's happiness but that is exactly what Karen Hughes did when she left her job as a counselor to George W. Bush in 2002. This book is about her struggles to balance a personal life with a demanding job and deciding that it would not be possible.
Enchantment is not a bad book. It's just not a great book. It plows the the same field as other customer service and business books. The only thing that differentiates it is the directness with which Kawasaki speaks. The message of the book is distilled in this quote. "Crap isn't enchanting . . . Jerks seldom enchant people."
