So I got this book out from the library. And boy, am I glad I did. The story was pretty engaging to read and the artwork is simply fantastic! Mike Mignola definitely is a modern day master of comic book storytelling. Pick up a copy and read it for yourself!

I normally can't stand science fiction and fantasy, but for some reason, I was able to forget the one (and major) aspect of this book that is hard to believe. I got so attached to the characters of this book that I actually cried at the end - and I have never cried from reading a book before!

This is the most marked book I own. It is underlined, circled, bracketed with parentheses, exclamation marked, question marked, starred. Peterson engages me like I hadn't been engaged reading theology and I read a substantial amount of it. Compared to the writing skills of other theologians he is a poet. Not an easy read by any means, but one you may find that on the other side of it you're not quite the same. "Christ Plays in Ten Thousand Places: A Conversation in Spiritual Theology" sits atop the three most influential books I've read in the last few years. Don't pick it up unless you mean it.

Great book. I liked What's So Amazing About Grace a little better but this one was definitely full of challenging ideas and questions. Worth a read if you are digging into faith.

A very brutal book. At times it is very boring, others times it's hard to put down. The end result was a fairly satisfying read, but many of the more graphic scenes should have been left out.
