A fascinating comparison of ideas in modern physics with those of ancient philosophy.

I really dont like the book. I thought it was boring and I dont see where the plot is going.
Pretty good little murder mystery which leaves you to your own imagination at the end.
I don't think I've ever actually finished this book. I usually get a little bogged down about the time that Golem appears. I like what I've read, though.
excellent quick read on hypocrisy in the media.
Well, I loved and hated this book at different times while reading it. One thing was true, I couldn't put it down. There's something about Janet Fitch's style of writing that hooks into me. I loved White Oleander and I almost didn't want to read this for fear that it wouldn't live up to my expectations. It was similar in many ways. The main character was a young girl (young woman) living life in the LA area dealing with crushing loss. Both characters were compelling although since Josie, from Paint it Black, was older she made her own choices. The settings resonated with me since I grew up in the LA area. I loved the ending of both books.

I know this is just a silly teen novel, but this book actually scared me. I had to stop reading it last night before bed because I was afraid it would give me nightmares! That said, it was just the same as any other Private novel - entertaining, fluffy, and a super quick read. I've had trouble finding books lately, so it was nice to have one that I zipped through and which held my interest.

I so wanted to like this. There were times when I skipped like 2-3 pages of generic descriptions and while some parts were lovely (one brought tears to my eyes) it just wasn't engough to save it from the ending. I'm all for cliff hangers... heck I love a good cliff hanger. The Hunger Games is probably the best cliff hanger ever because the book feels finished yet you know there is more story waiting. Delirium ends with you feeling... unsatisfied in so many ways. I wanted to throw my book across the room (and probably would have if I hadn't finished while at school.) So a fine read, but not great. I'll keep my eye out for the sequel and wait for that come out in paper back.

It's surprisingly good self-help advice. I especially like the assignments that get you to understand what you REALLY want out of life. For me it was only confirming that I'm on the right track.. but I can imagine that for a lot of people this can be helpful. If you know you want something "more" out of life, but you have no idea "what" and "how"--and if you've stopped making excuses--then this is for you.
I loved this whole series!
