Very interesting insights into the current 9 Supreme Court justices - where they came from, what shapes them, etc. Being non-fiction, it is something you can put aside for awhile and pick up again. I recommend it.

I think I would give this book 3 1/2 stars. I have been thinking about this book a lot. The end threw me off and I am still not sure what to think about it, or point the author was trying to get across.

Every character is pretty annoying, aside from the narrator. They're all just. Not the sort of people I like :| Daisy is a retard, her husband is a jerk, etc etc. I mean, it had good writing and stuff, but what makes me like a book is the characters, not the writing, you know?

I'm very let down by this book. Nothing much happens, On reflection i think there are teeny tiny hints of Tess in the main character but without the oomph of Hardy's writing. I'm usually a huge fan of Meg Rosoff which I why I'm so dissapointed I think. The story plods along nicely with some good descrption but to be honest I didn't really care what happened to the characters in the end.

The best plans of mice and men will always fall apart. The book Mice of men by John Steinbeck, was a very inspireing book because it shows that no matter how you long you plan and how hard you worked to get there everything might just fall apart before your eyes. It also shows a strange but nice friendship on common grounds. Mice of men was a good film and book. The other thing about this book i wanted to point out was that all the characters who had indivisual symbols. In the book Lennie and George are very good friends and they are trying to work out their lifes during the great depression. They have about 10 dollars between there selves and are trying to make sure they can work for some more months and get the place they want to get. As soon as everything goes right things mess up and then George has to make sacrifices and then that ruins all his and lennie dreams for the future. George and Lennie had a unusual friendship. Lennie was a overwieght tall retard, and Lennie was a smart,attractive guy and you would think the two bump heads but they were out for eachother alot. They actually had come to a understanding Lennie looked out for lennie and george looked out for lennie. In the end Lennie had to look out for George and had to kill him for his own sake and Lennie. Very inspirable story. In the book of mice and men almost the characters from Curlys wife who stands for women during that age of the depression. They had no say, they were lonly and were forced to marry with out choice but by defualt. Candy dog stood for candy one that is old and useless must be to sleep but Candy knew they wouldnt kill him like they did the dog, they would run him out the ranch. All the characters meant something and it was a very good story.
