This one surprised me. i didn’t expect to love this as much as “How to Flirt With a Naked Werewolf”. In the first book, Maggie came off as a brat who, while being a bit amusing, just annoyed me. Now as alpha, Maggie has grown and matured … a little. She’s still the sassy, smart mouth we all came to know and love, just less bratty and immature. Nick was an adorable addition who was perfect for Maggie. He’s able to put up with her wise cracks, and is determined enough to not let her run away from him and her feelings. Maggie’s romance, while adorable, played a secondary role. What was at the forefront of the story was Maggie herself. It was about her, how she dealt with the pack, life and just her everyday (and not-so-everyday) craziness. A hilarious read, I couldn’t stop myself from laughing at almost every other page. Harper’s writing was witty without being overdone. Definitely a great follow-up book. A quick, easy read, this book is perfect for anyone in the mood for a funny, paranormal romance. RATING : 5 ALEX & JACK MUSCLY BOYS & FUNNY NATE STARS!! Alex was standing behind me, bare-chested and in jeans, his hands resting lightly on my shoulders. Excuse me while I take a moment. This was the third sentence in the book.... giddy up! I'm trying to show the vibe of the first chapter The opening chapter was like something out of the Fast and Furious 5. Holy batman! We were off and running on rooftops over Mexico City in the sweltering heat. I was on those rooftops jumping and running too. Bullets whizzing past me ...errr.... Lila, and Alex as they try to escape from, The Unit. Out of one boiling kettle, into the hands and trust of Carlos and his drug den. Lila and Alex are our main character’s busting their chops to get Jack and Melissa out of The Unit’s clutches with Demos and Key playing ...errr... key parts. Nate and Suki are uber gorgeous doing their part. Nate is more, out- of-body. I would love a little novella with Suki and Nate’s little adventure to help their crew out. Suki did manage to stop off and get herself some new shoes. Girlfriend knows how to work those heels. Nate and Suki together, ogling Jack and Alex, are rather precious. They are very funny together, feeding off each other’s dialogue. Lila is coming in to her own, really working her powers, starting to learn control. Plans are being formed for the next death defying scheme, attempting to infiltrate the marine base where Jack and Melissa are being held. Who can they trust? OMG the twists! Loved them! I personally would have liked more Alex and Lila action. Hunting Lila was very ‘hot’ and smexi..... and that was just the tension. In 'Losing Lila', Sarah teases us with nuddy scenes! Not that I am complaining. Visually it did wonders in my head . Happy Days I luuurrrvvved every time Alex knelt down in front of Lila to talk to her....* sigh* , the attention he gave her was dreamy. Sarah has left me craving more, and I am uber nosey to find out about a couple of the characters and where Sarah will take us with them. It all just got switched up another notch. Oh, Demos and Harvey you little devils. I looovvved the spesh bonus Alex POV at the end of Losing Lila. Alex is just a hunk of lad...* sigh *. From the opening action scene to the crazy ‘break out’ scene, Sarah will capture your attention, the pages will turn, you will be left gasping, and gripping your book. The twists will come, and Nate and Suki will have you belly laughing. Sarah will have you wanting more nuddy swimming, *wink* and for Lila to hurry up and have a birthday....hehe........ what? FAVE QUOTES: '.....What will we do for eye candy now? Were you thinking of Nate at all? Were you thinking of me?' 'I can't believe you elbowed me out of the way,' Nate yelled from the corner where he was sitting, watching himself on-screen. 'Nate, they wanted someone pretty in the shot. That's why they interviewed me.'

Мога спокойно да изтръгна средните сто страници и да се получи по-добра книга; а вместо страданието на Даяна можеше да пусне една-две глави в повече, за да видим какво става с Елизабет. Иначе, това си ми е точно guilty-pleasure – приятно ми е да я чета, оформлението е страхотно, преводът е готин и аз си позволявам да я сравня с gossip girl, но един век назад. Няма да казвам какво се случва, защото е по-добре да си прочетете първата част, но историята с „лукавите девойки” се доразвива. :P Като резултат се засилиха антипатиите ми към скочибрата Пенелопи, че и към Лина – надали някой женски образ ме е дразнил толкова скоро и докато Пенелопи е просто зла кучка, то Лина ми бие на жалка история. Даяна не е моят тип героиня, затова идеално си пасва с Хенри, който наистина излезе голям страхливец, пък било то и от „благородни” мотиви. Съответно, не разбрах защо всички гадости се случват на Елизабет – е как да не я съжали човек? Милият, рус, страдащ ангел. А и освен Пенелопи тя е единствената, която отстоява себе си и то по честен начин. Следва „Завист”, ама чак догодина, че се задава сесия. Имам желание да разбера какви гадорийки ще изстрада Елизабет. Явно авторката си я е избрала за максимум гавра.

I hate to sound a down note amidst all the praise here, but I thought this was too dry to be a lay person's history and rather sprawling to be a scholarly work. I used it as a palate cleanser between other books and have been reading it slowly over the last 2 months, seldom able to engross myself so far as to make significant progress at one time.

J'ai adoré ce tome ! il se lit à une vitesse folle. On retrouve un peu Stephan et on voit ce qu'il est devenu aprés toute ses histoires. Un mariage et une lune de miel plus qu'animée. Ca ne pouvait qu'être le cas avec Mercy ! Des visites de Coyote qui nous permettent d'en savoir plus sur le père de Mercy et de comprendre tout ce qu'il s'est passé, ce que j'ai vraiment beaucoup apprécié. De nouvelles connaissances et de nouveaux combats.
