This was another book for my church Relief Society Book club, so the content is A-ok. I was not very excited when I heard this book involved the Nazi concentration camps of WWII (it's just too real and too sad for me at this point in my life), but what I loved was that their suffering and hardship was not the message of the book AT ALL. It was all about thinking positively in the face of grim circumstances, about forgiveness, and how that forgiveness and love and everything else good comes from Christ, which I believe with all my heart. It made me want to be a better person and become closer to God and my Savior.

Infinitely better than the previous book. I'm happy: I'm just a book away from my gold. It's great to know that from now on I'll be reading the books as they come out. This was an interesting case although I would prefer if Eve didn't knew about their identity until it was the moment of capture. Nonetheless this book made me remember all the wonderful books when this series was at its best. Now, I'll have to find the time to read " Treachery In Death".

Wow. If somebody had told me this would be a postapocalyptic story with zombies, I might have anticipated something about the book - & I would've been SO wrong. Then after I read it, I saw references to it as being in the "horror" genre or the "southern Gothic" genre, & I wondered whether those people had read the same book I had. An amazing book (imho). I also question its being marketed as "young adult."

Really not a great book at all. Hard to even recommend for light reading. I finished it simply because I was waiting at the house while the movers packed and had nothing else available. Got two stars instead of one, because there were a couple funny parts.
