Really wish my local library had all the books so I could have read them in order. That said each book seems to be able to stand alone for the most part. I love that this is like sex in the city meets buffy the vampire slayer only with ancient greek/atlantian myths surrounding it all. The sex scenes do get a little over written like the summery says, but if you don’t like that kind of erotic writing you can easily get through it as the rest of the story is good enough to get you through it.

A story about the creation, unraveling, and eventual redefinition of a family in New York. It has some bolder story lines in relation to a rather young girl's choices about sex but I think the characters are real and for the most part quite likeable. I enjoy the complicated nature of Nissen's plots and tangled picture she paints of romance and attraction.

This has to be one of the most amazing children's books of all time, it is a Canadian author and when I was in my 20's I fell upon a Shakespeare in the Park crew performing it down at Prince's Island in Calgary, Canada, if you can get your hands on it read it, it's fun for kids and adults. Mordecau has an amazing imagination!

Total page turner that I devored in a few days. The story is reminiscent of a Jodi Picoult novel, which is fine by me as I'm a huge fan of her work. Interesting premise, fascinating story.

I really enjoyed this book! It had a totally different kind of feel to it--really makes you question why you get married or want to get married. I loved the idea of the high-end marriage broker. Even when you try to tie things up in a neat bow, life still happens and there is always something to muddle through. Can't wait for Forgotten to come out in the fall!!!
