I liked this book! But then again, I am liking all of the kay scarpetta books. Loved the ending. It continues where Body Farm left off. Hope someone else enjoys it!

The way conversation and speaking was handled was annoying. There weren't quotation marks. Just dashes. Like this -. Sometimes it made figuring out when the conversation ended and thoughts began a little difficult. And it didn't really end.
I bet I have read this book six or seven times. Bryson is one of a handful of writers who can actually make me laugh. I mean, not just a "silent inward chuckle which doesn't necessary distract passersby"--a real laugh. I love his travel writing especially and this is my favorite. I highly recommend it, whether you ever plan to visit Australia or not.

So far, i've read a bunch about the history of organization. How it came to be, why it's regarded as important, organization and non-organization styles - it's really interesting, and it contains a bunch of "random facts" that i find interesting, too.

i haven't really enjoyed the last couple books that banana yoshimoto has put out, especially this one. they seem like watered-down copies of her earlier work, with similar themses and characters, but none of the substance that was there in n.p. or kitchen or even her short stories.

I recommended this to Bookclub. It was fantastic. I wasn't aware that leprocy was around so recently. I loved the pictures it conjured up in my mind and I would love to see Spinalonga - the island sounded so beautiful. Heartbreaking in places but a fab read.

Life in the 1600's starting on Martha's Vineyard makes for a wonderful read. The vocabulary was challenging, there was at least one word on every page I wanted to look up. Geraldine took some factual history and built a good fictional story around it.
An eyeopener to look at things in a different way. Not a self help book at all but a book on angel therapy, the connections you can have with angles, angles that are no longer with you but guide you through out the life. Just broaden up your horizons and you would feel the change. Listen to the UNIVERSE & react
One star for the storyline and the other is for the good looking man on the cover.
I thoroughly enjoyed this story. It was fun, the heroine wasn't TSTL, the hero was just alpha enough to make the sexual tension hot, and the villain wasn't too over the top. All in all, a great way to spend a few hours.
