This was a very quick, fun read. Pretty racy but a good summer book to enjoy that's chick lit. without being anti-feminist...in my opinion.

Her first book. All her books paint a vivid picture of life in China around WW2 and how horrible women had it. I like The Thousand Secret Senses better, though.

Great book with promise that God is in control of our lives even when we think we are! Kat and Brad had a rocky bump in their marriage when Nicole said she'd had an affair with Brad. Kat prayed and trusted God to save her marriage. He did!

See complete review at Squeaky Clean Reads Overall Review: It’s refreshing to come across a character like Megan in Bitter Blessings: strong, smart, and relatable. With all that has occurred in the past few weeks, Megan tries hard to do good and author Christine Mehring does an impressive job at making the reader feel deeply invested in her journey. In fact, readers will have a hard time putting this book down, as it pulls you in and makes you want to know how Megan’s pursuit of truth will end. Despite tackling emotional subject matter, there were also several light, cheerful moments that made me grin. I really enjoyed this sweet and satisfying read. Overall rating is 4.5 out of 5 stars!

This book made me laugh a lot and I actually think it made sense. Very quotable.
This book is fascinating not for its plot or characters but for the "subplot" of what the original publisher and people hired by the publisher as editors and re-writers did to Piers Anthony's book. The book is written in the classic humorous Anthony style, familiar to any of his fans. I did not read the original published edition but I read the edition (with Piers Anthony's face on the cover) that was later published by Anthony with copious endnotes detailing the atrocities visited on his work. One thing that just jumped out at me is that the original publisher (Del Rey if memory serves) hired people with no sense of humor as re-writers. This really makes me wonder if the people in the hiring positions were familiar at all with Piers Anthony's work and his writing style. This book (the edition with the endnotes) is entertaining and educational; it was fun for me – not a professional writer – to see some of the pains that an established and well respected writer had to endure. Review originally published 2007 with later corrections to html

I didn't like Cloud Atlas much at all, but this book is easily one of the most enjoyable books I've read in years.
Louisa May Alcott "Küçük Kadınlar" başka neler olup bittiğini güzel yazılmış, ilginç bir görünüm
