This was a bit harder to get through, but still very good. I'm not sure what to think of the ending, but it didn't leave me disappointed.
Hilarious series of stories that moves along at a quick pace. Once you pick it up, you'll keep reading (and cringing) as Ms. Snowe experiences a series of dates with guys who fall far short of Prince Charming.
I want to be the Dandy...

This book was pretty intense, just based on the subject matter. It was a good little mystery though. It kind of reminded me of the Aurora books. I thought it was a great read and it was just under 200 pages.

In J.T. Tucker's world he know without a doubt that women who like fashion are the worst kind of evil, the kind that don't make good wives and mothers. Hanna Richards is a seamstress determined to earn her way by making fashionable useful clothing for the women in Coventry. Hannah and J.T. clash from the moment they meet and yet there is a fire between them that doesn't want to be smothered. ATailor-Made Bride is full of surprises and a few moments of danger. It's set in the old west when streets were dirt and men were in charge. I enjoyed this read and the time travel trip. I liked Hannah, she's clueless and smart at the same time, a bit clumsy and yet she never looses her dignity. She handles life with joy.

Kurlansky's stuff is always good - insightful and meticulously researched. This book will tell you more about what happened in 1968 (and what it all meant) than you will ever actually want to know.

I laughed, I cried [again]. This is a sweet apology for grace in the home a midst the chaos and the cheerios. I bought up a handful of copies and sent them to all the Mommas of little ones I know. It's an easy, even while you nurse, kind of book. It's great.
