Asli ini komiknya keren bener deh. Pertama, covernya dahsyat, imajinasi atas Genta, Zafran, Iyan, Riani dan Arial itu pas banget. Kedua, gambarnya maaaan..... bagus bener dah. 2 Jempol mah kalo buat saya. Ketiga, Is Yuniarto mampu membawa gambar-gambar dalam komik ini seakan nyata dan persis sama kayak di novelnya. Cuma 1 sih, harganya lumayan mahal buat komik :D

Odd ball book, may take a little to get into it. Has the best twist I've ever encountered- probably better than fight club's. The author makes use of a great vocabulary.

Francesca D'Oro and Marcos Navarre have a past together, and it's not a happy one. When Francesca was 18, her and Marcos had gotten married. Unfortunately he ran off on her and took a rare yellow diamond from her family that he believed belonged to his family. Now that Francesca is older and wiser, she decides it's time to reclaim the yellow diamond and that means facing Marcos once more. The Devil's Heart is a story of a damaged woman and a damaged man who learn to come to terms with the terrible events of their pasts and move on to start living in the present... together. It's about living in the today rather than being trapped in the yesterday. The addition of a theme of that depth was enjoyable for me. It turned the typical Harlequin Romance formula into something much easier to connect to, something more intricate but accessible. The characters started out distant to me, but as the story progressed they became more human. With every passing chapter, the author revealed something new and often tragic about the characters' pasts. The layers were peeled back to unveil characters that were genuinely likeable. My only complaint with the characters is that I would have liked to delve a little deeper into their back stories, especially with regards to Marcos. He definitely remained a bit of a mystery, a very sexy mystery. I liked the settings in this book. The author described the beauty of Buenos Aires but also described some of it's flaws like the homeless youth. The settings cemented the story for me. It made it feel authentic and real. The Devil's Heart is a short book at only 185 pages, so it would make a perfect weekend read. I recommend it to those looking for a fast, fun, sexy, happily-ever-after read! *****Won as a Goodreads First Read*****

Filled with delicious abandoned or odd words, like CROTCHET: noun A peculiar and whimsical perversion; a nonsensical notion CUCKQUEAN: noun A female cuckold GOZZARD: noun A goose herder QUIDDLE: verb To fiddle or diddle idly Actually, a number of the odd words in Gene Wolfe's Book of the New Sun (Wolfe claims there's no made-up words in it) can be found here, which is why I got it originally.
Good Addition to the series
I believe this story was written fairly well for being a biography, however it contained not many historical facts. This would be a good "story" to have your child read however it doesnt give many historical facts about the life of Walt Disney. Simply put, this book gives us not much more than a good story.
This is one of those books that seeks to get us all going "wow, that's counterintuitive" like Freakonomics of the Black Swan or whatever, except it's way better because it's steeped so heavily in its subject and it's a subject that applies to all of us. What Vanderbilt does here is fascinating. There's narrative flow but an accumulation of details and data and personal experience that's more dense than other similar books that I've read and yet engaging. Unlike with some business books I've read lately -- or even Freakonomics -- I never got the feeling that Vanderbilt was giving something short shrift for reasons of either ideology or space. What could be more boring than a book on traffic, right? Well, I gotta say this manages to be not boring and not ponderous and totally germane. Of course, it will also make you realize how messed up some (or much) of the traffic planning you encounter in your normal driving life really is so ironically it may add rather than lessen your stress on the road. But then again, it's not just about environment. As Vanderbilt shows, the biggest (and most difficult to change) factor in driving is paying attention.

I loved it, and though it's a mega-tome I reread it whenever practical. George's grasp of the history is impressive, yet none of the story or its characters are lost in the tiny accurate details or scenery.
