A story about a group of boys and a bet. Billy tells his friends that eating 15 worms isn't that big of a deal, and they call him out on it. He has to eat 15 worms in 15 days and if he wins the bet, his buddy Alan will give him 50 dollars. Only problem is Alan keeps trying to cheat and Billy thinks he is getting sick. This was an entertaining book. Took me about 45 minutes to read. It was a quick read and I didn't get too attached to the characters. I enjoyed it, but it is something I would recommend if you are bored or feel like you should read a book instead of watch an episode of your TV show. It was okay, but not long enough for development and the characters all have the same personality.

although i don't agree with his overall views on the war, he did bring the dualities of trying to both wanting to escape from the terribleness of war yet still finding himself drawn to it and the associated feelings of coming back and finding that he no longer fits in society. An excellent introduction into the mindset of todays soldier.

I enjoy reading Debbie Macomber because she is such an easy read. Her books take some of the same turns, but there is usually something in the book that you don't see coming. This book followed those lines. A good read and one I enjoyed reading in the car on my way to spring break.

okay. let me begin by warning you that this author is a major creeper. i am pretty sure that he is a sex offender and if he isn't, he should be. or maybe he had one of those gender switching surgeries. he knew way too much intimate details from a woman's perspective... so this book is about this lady who lives in london with her "3 years and 4 months" old son, which she only said about ten thousand times. so her son and her husband go to a football (soccer for all you dense people out there) and while they are away at this soccer game, what is she doing? she is sleeping with another man while watching the soccer game. and while they are doing it she watches the soccer game blow up. literally. by osama bin laden's suicide bombers. so they go to the arena. this part was so gross and depressing. it was pretty good writing here i have to admit. i almost vomited during this part though. i was totally sobbing but as you know i sob at everything. this time i think most people would be affected though. so the lady is in the hospital for awhile and then she comes back out and goes to scotland yard (where her husband used to work). she gets a job making tea for this guy. and then she begins to sleep with him, even though he was married. wow. so flippin scandalous. i am shaking in my boots. you will have to read it if you want to know what happens next but i wouldn't recommend it. let me take a moment now to say that this lady had horrible spelling, punctuation, and grammar errors. so i kept picturing her as a hill billy because she was obviously as smart as them. but i think she was supposed to be pretty or something because all these guys seemed to like her. and this copper she was slepping with.. well i kept picturing him with a big honkin bushy mustache and a pot belly and basically a really ugly guy. these people were supposed to be good looking i think but i just couldn't see it. jasper was the only i could visualise something else that really irritated me was that after her son and husband died she started thinking about sleeping with everyone. she was thinking about sleeping with her boss before they started to. it even seemed like she was thinking about sleeping with jasper's girlfriend. i thought that was just plain weird. jasper was my favourite character and if you actually know what happens to my favourite characeters most of the time, you should know what happens to him. i hope that didnt spoil anything. i was so mad at him in that part though. so save yourself and don't waste your time reading this book.
