I was kind of confused at the beginning and you really had to read pretty far in to understand most things. If anything the whole book was some what confusing, but that doesn't mean I didn't like it. I felt like there were a lot of deeper meanings that a second read of the book would help me to understand. I like the directions that Marr is taking the series but I hope that there aren't going to be like a million more books. I really wanted to here more about Ash and the Summer court but Radiant Shadow mainly focused on the High and Dark courts, which was interesting to learn more about. I patiently await the next book.
