a little disturbing, especially the end, and nothing like Iexpected. I definitely reccommend this book though (especially since the author lived in the town next to me)

Unless you are a literature student you might find this one hard to read. I did. Unlike the first 2 books in the trilogy, this one was very hard to follow. If you take it on, find a guide.

I am still reading this book. I am not sure whatto say yet. It is new and different than other parenting books I have read and I like the direction it is going in. I want to talk about it more and think about it more but I need to read more! My husband said when I mentioned one concept,"That is the opposite as the the other book we read!" I said,"I know, just go with it! It cannot hurt to try." I still am going to get to this book but the one I am reading right now takes priority! (Hold Onto Your Kids) Some day I will read them all!

I totally fell in love with this story. The story covers the lives of three women in today's world. O'Neal did a wonderful job capturing the highs and lows of each character. I could not pull myself away from this book. I loved how O'Neal incorporated baking into her story. Best of all, there are recipes to go along with the different pastries, breads, and muffins in the book. I'm making the muffin recipe today!

Not as good as the other two in this series. By this book I felt like the author was being kind of lazy and copying the basic plot of the first two books and just change the names and specifics. Still a fun-ish read.

Amazing debut fiction. It started out a little slow, there are a lot of characters and a lot of different viewpoints and it took me awhile to keep everyone straight and really "care" about each person's plight. But about 1/3 in, it picked up pace and I finished the book in one afternoon. Terrific writing and interesting storylines of people trying to realize the American dream.
