The roles kind of reverse themselves as the man ( retired doctor) is found to be the weak link and the wife, who was always the dependent person, is found to be strong. However, her strength almost costs her her sanity in a twist at the end. Interestingly written from alternating viewpoints.

This is by far my favorite Audio CD ever. Do not listen to it if it is your first time reading the Chronicles of Narnia. Only listen to it if you want to laugh. Focus on the Family does a great job of corrupting this classic book, especially Aslan's voice, but especially the battle scenes which last 1.2 seconds and consist of two swords clanking twice. How cool. It will keep you up on long road trips, waiting for hilarious morsels to spew from your speakers. But listeners beware: your laughter may consume any other forms of entertainment planned for your trip.
