It was a very fun read. I love reality shows like The Amazing Race so it was very easy for me to imagine the scenarios. I think this is a very solid second book for Parkhurst. It's not as good as Dogs of Babel, but there's no way to really compare the subject matter. I think it could have been longer with a little more character development for each. All in all, good but not great. This book really deserves a C+. I wish I could give half stars so it would be 3 1/2.

With the length of this book I was expecting to be bored most of the time, but that didn't happen at all I was at the edge of my seat the entire time. I would deff recommend this book to anyone.

I enjoyed this book. It felt sort of like a sequel to "Me Talk Pretty One Day" which I also enjoyed. I definitely liked these two better than "Barrel Fever".

This is a really good book. It is made up of short stories that are some how related. It gives a reader an inside look at what life is like being in a military family. The stories are so real real even though this is a fiction book. It made me appreciate what military families sacrifice for our country.
