I've always thought the Duggars were a little out there, but after reading this book, it helped me realize that they are not all that different from anyone else. Honestly, this is one book that made me understand why anyone would be part of the Christian faith. Too often I see people claim to be Christian and then go on to do cruel deeds, but the Duggars really seem to have the right idea in their actions of being good people and working hard and.... well, just read the book. It's a quick read, quite cute and funny, and might just inspire you to think of things you wouldn't normally think about.

This starts out so promising - absorbing, ethereal. About two-thirds of the way through, when the narrative shifts away from how the narrator is coping with stepping up into the role of a Royal Princess and becomes Empress herself, the plot and pacing gives way to a less than satisfying rehashing of earlier themes and experiences. There is a touch of Memoirs of a Geisha here, for better or for worse.

I was not sure about this book when I first started to read it along with the fact it was one of the free ones on Amazon for the kindle. But man am I glad I read it, took me two days cause I didn't want to stop! It had suspense, mystery, romance, heart break, laughter, and some good ummm hot scenes as well, a few miss spellings but hell I can't comment on that! I completely recommend this book to mystery/who done it fans.
