So cuddly and comforting. I miss the old times, even though I didn't live in the 1950's or 1960's. But Bill makes you miss them nevertheless.
The Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother by Amy Chua is a wonderful read. It came at a time when I needed a serious laugh over the trials and tribulations of being a strict mother. Amy's intention was to write a story contrasting Western and Chinese parenting. What unfolds instead is a laugh-out-loud story of raising a strong-willed child in the challenging society we live in. The author walks through her successes and failures as a Tiger Mother stopping to explain how her culture influences her style of mothering. If you are a mother and have ever doubted your skills this book is a must!

Wonderful book; really makes you think about the human race and the small town setting. Not a great ending, but a wonderful book
Awesome book! This really makes you think about the cloning that's going on with animals - like the sheep they cloned at A&M. Is cloning humans possible in our lifetime? Should somebody clone a human?
It's influence is much greater than the book itself.
This book set my mind at ease when I brought a new dog home to meet my bunnies. It has detailed instructions on how to create the best inter-species homes, including cats, dogs, rabbits, birds, and kids.

I love that The Laughing Corpse is a vampire comedy club. Hilarious!
I was so thrilled to see that Elizabeth Peters filled in some gaps in the Emersons' story. It was like a typical reunion of sorts for them to return to the place where they found Nefret and discover what had happened in the intervening years. I loved going back to a time when Ramses, Nefret and David were younger and it was great seeing Emerson and Peabody at their best with Selim and Daoud in tow. The story has its usual twists and turns, delightful dialogue and wonderful character sketches against the superbly painted backdrop of archeologists living in the early years of the twentieth century. I love this series and found this another awesome installment in the story. Wholeheartedly, I recommend this series to those who love blending archeology, mystery and a touch of romance. It is absolutely necessary to read these in order.
Un poco lento al principio, pero quédate con él, todo mejora mucho. El final es un shock, aunque Charlaine Harris es un poco aburrida para mí a través del libro. Me quedo con él porque sus finales valen la pena.
