Terrible. Yes, the book had chapters. Each chapter was labeled. But I'm not so sure the author kept to the chapter topic. Maybe it is because the chapter, like the book itself, had no point. There is not really any direction anywhere in here. Mostly it is filled with what the author considers to be dumb things that dumb people have said or done. But the writing? Really? This was published?

Very intense and inspiring story. Once you start reading, it's hard to stop. Interesting look into the lives of very different stories in the 1960's in Mississippi. Would definitley recommend.

Read the really really abridged version in my English class.. ...... ... as in I only read the part of the Mahabharata on King Sibi. xD Well, either way, I've got to say that Indian legends/myths truly are fascinating to me and I thought that the huge-self sacrifice of the king was interesting as well as his conversation with the hawk. The only thing that gave me the shudders and the shivers was the fact that the king had to cut off part of his leg during the self-sacrifice...But hey, Ravana took part in puja by sacrificing like 9 of his heads! Either way, interesting story and a MUST-READ for those who like Indian culture and stories. I'm going to learn more about the Mahabharata's complex story as a whole with abridged and cut out details because I learned from Mrs. Cooper (English teacher) that the Mahabharata is apparently the LONGEST epic in the world and is about 7 times larger than The Iliad and the Odyssey combined...Either way, I'm so psyched to get to finally read and hear Mrs. Cooper explain and spell out the details of the Mahabharata because I just ADORE mythology and love complex stories. :)

I guess he is middle aged man in the Waystone telling his life story to chronicler....So Book three only has to cover from age 17-55? should be roughly 45,000 pages. We will see how this all wraps up.

AND, we're introduced To new character, Robin, who is fat. The talk of Robin's fatness Abounds and how it Basically makes her A loser nerd that no one Wants to hang with. Yay, Sweet Valley High! You Do wonders for girls' body Image! Rock on, yo.
