I read this in the context of a Freud, Fiction, and the Uncanny class, and that class is what made the book interesting. I hated Catherine and I hated Heathcliff, and I could care less about their "love". The way the story is told, and the gaps in the narration- these are the things that make the book compelling.

This is a fast paced love story that grabs you by the heart and doesn't let go until you finish the book. This hot sexy instalment delivers a great story with 2 very different people. The differences between them make it work and the hiccup when he revels his secret makes it all the more realistic. I loved this and I think I am even starting to like stock cars especially if the drivers are like Ty.

I bought this because I am a HUGE fan of the Hollows series. Sadly, I was disapointed with the graphic novel. Ivy is my favorite character in the series and I thought that this was going to show more of how she thinks and what she goes through. It did not tell me anything new and the story was really simple. I knew going into it that the characters would look different to me, so that was not a big issue. I just think that I have to stick to the regular series.

I won an ARC of this book from Goodreads. It was a little "soap opera"-y at times, but overall was okay. Is there going to be a sequel to it? I feel like Shanice Williams (the author) definitely sets it up for one. I would probably read it, just to see what happens to Kane and Suranne in the future.

Great book about writing. While it is specific to screenplays, most of the tips are useful regardless of whether you're writing a screenplay, novel, or short story. And, frankly, the author's different approach to genres and outlining helped my brain reconsider my own works-in-progress from a different angle.
