The most fascinating story was about the watering of Los Angeles, but from there, the book gets really tedious. It makes me glad I'm moving back to the slightly more sustainable lands of the east coast.

These short stories are like the book version of the MTV show Skins. A very quick read, without much use of symbolism or subtlety. Maybe James Franco has improved with all his Ivy League creative writing classes, but this book makes me think he should stick to acting.
