I love this book so much. It's such a well-written, concise little manual, and it even manages to be pretty humorous at times.

I started this in Germany and it took me a long time to finish (thanks to the Shuttle for giving me time to read!). Overall, I enjoyed it, but it’s not making any favorites lists.

Did I say the last book was the best? I was wrong. Very wrong :)

I really love this series. It's like Tamora Pierce minus most of the awkward stuff. In other words, perfection.

I've read this twice now in 2013 - once aloud to my wife - and can safely say it's one of the most beautiful and affecting books I've ever read.
Brutal.

"I only said it to hurt you. I wanted to make you feel as bad as I did." Belimai smiled. "It's my own little way of sharing what I have with you. Aren't you lucky?" "I think I am." Harper almost winced at his own words. He sounded like a stumbling fool. There is only one thing that made me a bit disappointment – the story was too short. I just would have loved to read more about Harper and Belimai. I heard of this book about a year ago when I read Blood and Brimstone by Calanthe a Harry Potter and Wicked Gentlemen fanfiction crossover and since then I wished to read WG.
i loved this book. it took me a little while to get into and i wouldn't recommend it to everybody; but for me, it was a nearly perfect novel. the characters are so vivid and varied. each one teaches a lesson in his or her own way. this journey of David Copperfield and his "undisciplined heart" is full of charm, wit, sadness and joy. as a character, Copperfield is able to overcome circumstance with perseverance and the occasional smattering of good fortune. as an author, Dickens unfolds this heart-warming story in a rhythmic and playful manner. by the end of the book, each character is well-developed by the author, well-known by the reader, and greatly appreciated for the enduring lessons each one represents.

Fabulous! Hermaphrodite narrator tell his/her story while exploring Greek-American history and Detroit during the years around the race riots.
This is a book in which I had to do a speach on Mathabane. Before reading this book, I had no idea what Apartheid was since it was abolished when I was just starting school. Anyway, it was a very intersting and unconventional autobiography about life in a foreign land that at some ways seemed like 1960s American South. He talks about going from relative poverty to, using his talents, abling to escape Apartheid South Africa and be a poster child of why the practice is wrong. Besides Mandella, Mathabane is instrumental in bring to light Apartheid in South Africa.

El suspenso fue bueno. La idea de la Rusia posterior a la Segunda Guerra Mundial fue interesante. La trama fue un poco increíble, pero supongo que no está completamente fuera de lugar. En general, una lectura agradable, si no una impactante.
