A quick holiday story - a sweet reminder about being selfless and hospitable during the holiday season!

The book is more like a magazine. Each page is it's own little history. However, I was entertained. It was interesting to learn strange trivia facts about the presidents and founding fathers (Abe Lincoln's railway tie story, the real Paul Revere).

This is the best book ever. This book is not only for married couples but for everyone. It is a guide on love and treating people how they deserve to be treated, with love! I recommend this book to everyone as a one day at a time reading. No rush through this. Take the time to really understand and take it all in for use in your everyday life! This book has opened up a whole new understanding of Love in my life!

It lacked punch, although perhaps I was expecting more based on the title. Nonethelest, it had some amusing moments and if folks do a quick skim of any of the pages, it should be enough to let one know if 'tis from them.

He wanders way to much. It would be on topic and then all of a sudden you had no idea how you got where you were. I was really disappointed.

The Girl Who Read To Birds The Girl Who Read To Birds, a fantasy novel written by Michael Titus and illustrated by Julie Miller, is an urban fable, a modern fairy tale about Avery Street, an eccentric 12-year old girl whose greatest delight is reading -- to birds. Crows, ravens, wrens; the birds are all too eager to hear tales inspired by the human imagination. Avery is a misfit child, to her parents, teachers and classmates. Her struggle is hold her ground, survive the conventional world, and keep herself terribly alive in a place where true magic is said to exist only in books, not in real life. Beautifully illustrated with the artwork of Julie L. Miller

I was a little leary about this book at the begining. I was surprised to find myself entertained and not wanting to put the book down. It was a quirky, fun read. The story is about Piper McCloud who is the girl who could fly. Piper finds out that she has talent for more things than just flying. I like that this was a "girl power" book and it reaches out to audiences of all ages. I have to agree with the review Stephenie Meyer gave the book which was something to the effect of Little House on the Prairie meets X-Men.
