This is the book I got Chomsky to sign in Florida. His most concrete political analysis about a potential future society.

I did enjoy reading this book. At times it was incredibly difficult, and often when I finished reading at night, I would have a hard time falling asleep. There were aspects that I didn't like, but for the most part, I would recommend this book.

LOVE THIS BOOK. I have a soft spot for short stories, and these noir classics deliver. The Continental Op is up there with Sam Spade in developing our collective image of detectives. There's some humorous elements and you can just see the fog coming in off the bay as you read.

Jodi Picoult is one of my favorite authors. She writes about controversial issues, making them real to the reader. I love how her descriptions of people and places really come to life and how much you end up feeling for the characters! What I learned from this book is that there is always another side to the story, that no matter what happens, we need to listen when someone is asking for help. We need to do something when someone asks us for help b/c it just might be the last time they ask!

I was in the mood for something light and breezy, and as a former middle school reading teacher, I've found many young adult novels great reads, so I wasn't afraid to check this one out. I was pleasantly surprised! I liked the main character, but really loved the music references, and the unconventional way the author infused historical facts about the French Revolution throughout the story. I understand suspension of disbelief, but sometimes the leaps were just broad - just too many coincidences. All in all a good -finished it in three days - read.
I love this book. Fantasy has always been a favorite genre of mine, but this encompasses the enduring love of a couple who has to overcome the odds of an incurable time-travelling trait of one. It is both heartbreaking, stimulating, overwhelming, and so much more. Definitely one that I would read again, multiple times.

I love how Audrey threw all of the normal constraints to time travel out the window and wrote a truly fresh and original book (e.g. using an external device or portal to travel, that you cannot let yourself be seen, and other "rules of time travel"). the plot ws quite interesting and she did well keeping track of past present and future - and it must really have been a challenge. I really enjoyed the book even if I didn't like the characters so much.
