well written and convincing, but struggles to convince of a definite need to rework our image of Paul and the Judaism of his day. calls into question Reformational view of justification without attempting to dialog with it. if this understanding is so obvious, why has it only shown up in the mid- to late-20th Century? is to be commended for its high view of the Lordship of Christ in the message of the Gospel. a worthy read but not without your thinking cap.

Excellent mix of law and order with a slab of creepy. Hard to put down without finishing it in one read.
Not one for love stories, but wow!

Together with Strange Angel, this is one of the two necessary biographies of Jack Parsons. It concentrates on his occult activities, and while a pseudonymous work, appears to have been written by an OTO insider. This damages the book's perspective on key issue, particularly the role of the women in Jack's life. It's still very interesting and illuminating.
This book is amazing! I seriously could not believe that Wally Lamb was a man. It's really amazing how convincing the characters were. Loved, loved, loved it!

I really enjoy reading Nora Roberts books. This one started a little slow and had too much detail about dog training but loved the characters and suspense.

I have read a few Michael Crichton books and this one was a bit weak in comparison to Prey & State of Fear. I still enjoyed it though. It was a quick, light read. The story does shed light on the way airplane manufacturing operates and how the UAW influences operations. This is what I like about Crichton's stories, always filled with interesting details. I found in this one though, the main character's new assistant seems to be thrown in just as a prop to help get more details and explanation in. He doesn't know anything about building planes so the main character is always explaining things to him. Despite some more negative comments here I still enjoyed reading this book. It was not a disappointment.

If you have boys who are reluctant to read, this might just be the series to catch their interest. It was a tad dark for my taste, but if you're into spooks and scare, definitely have a read. You'll love these!
