This book was alright to read for being a completion of short stories. All of the concepts of the short stories did correlate with each other and was not just in some random order. The one thing I did not like about Lahiri's book was it seemed like when I was just starting to get involved with in one of the short stories and start to get to know the characters, the story just came to a sudden halt. All-in-all I would have to say that this was a alright book to read, it was kind of hard for me to get into these short stories but they were well written.

Novela "histórica" y algo más: buen retrato de la evolución del personaje, y de la sociedad que le circunda.

I read this on a long haul flight (purchased at the airport). Tiredness + jet lag + Jerry's story about a nose job = I laughed until I semi-collapsed between the seats.

I'm not kidding, I seriously did read this in fourth grade. I actually had to memorize the Antony speech about friends, Romans, and countrymen. Nevertheless, I've read it a few times since and I still don't like it that much. There's a difference between have a tragic hero with a flaw or two and having a prick as the focus of your play. While the argument tends to favor Brutus, neither side is really in the right in the play, and that's what bothers me. Especially since Caesar is such an insufferable monster, why does Antony skewer Brutus so publicly for this assassination? Why is it that public figures who are taken "before their time" are instantly idolized, instantaneously worshipped for what they could have been as opposed to what they were? And it's not only Caesar - JFK, Monroe, Dean, Cobain, Phoenix, etc. This play is simply not as good as Coriolanus. The arguments are unconvincing, the characters are two dimensional and flat, and while the speeches are famous, the writing isn't really up to par compared to some of his better plays.

这个女人写给所有家庭成员和同事的都是所有信件。 到目前为止,这还不是我想的那样有趣的海滩。 我希望它会好起来。 6/7并没有好转,我对这本书非常失望
