I had to read it for an english summer reading project. It was an interesting and very sad book. Its been so long since I've read it I can't really say that much, but what I will always remember is the Coke-a-Cola scene. That was so sweet!

A groundbreaking study for its time. It has since been critiqued numerous times, but is widely acknowledged as the foundation for a growing body of black film scholarship.

Book five was a nice ending to the Fablehaven series. There were so many new characters introduced in this book. I wish that we could have had more chapters with Grandma and Grandpa Sorenson and more familiar characters involved in the story. One of my favorite characters is Tanu and we read very little about him in the book.It was nice to see Seth so grown-up and taking his place among the heroes of Fablehaven. Overall, I enjoyed book 5 and I am sad that this series has ended.
I loved this book, it relates to everyone in every stage of life and it is such an easy read! She writes so well and has you laughing and smiling the entire time you read it. I would recommend this book to anyone going through a breakup or lonely period in their life! However, I read it as I was getting married and related just as much! Great book.

This was difficult to get into; but never liking to stop the story; I kept going. I am so glad I did! I really liked Lisbeth Salander; what she had to over come and how she kicked butt. She didn't let people into her life on purpose, it just came about. Mikael Blomkvist and Lisbeth make an unlikely friendship that helps them both.

This book made me weep. After I finished it, I went out and bought copies for my family and dear friends. One of those books that makes you realize life is so precious and too short not to live it to the fullest. I need to re-read it again.

This book has already been made popular by Arindam Chaudhary (of IIPM fame) by getting an injunction against the publishing of the chapter on him in India, making Deb into lesser Rushdie (and Arindam a god of some sorts??) The book is a sensitive narration of 5 important typecasts in Modern India - The IT guy, the filthy rich, the naxal/marxist farmer/ the migrant worker and the woman from small towns making a living in India's metros. Deb explores their lives with utmost honesty, and gives us their story in a clear, precise voice, raising some important questions on the way abt life in India post globalization. he may not hv got the answers, but he sure does make u think abt these v important issues. Read it for taking a break in ur life and think abt where r u finally going.
Even though it took me *forever* to read this, it easily ranks among my favorite books now that I'm done. Science-fiction and fantasy rarely are written by authors of Wolfe's magnitude and it shows. I'll grant that this book (and the previous one) take a particular dedication to truly enjoy, but it's worth the effort.

Cute and funny. It's about a dog so it's pretty much a no brainer I'm going to love it!

A bit of a departure for Mr. Richardson, this book is a pre-Arthurian mix of his signature brand of supernatural horror and a love story. I highly recommend it for anyone who'd like to imagine how King Arthur came to be.
