Jonathan Stilz mrreell — I definitely found this one hard to put down. Lots of twists and turns and things to keep you wondering, but tied together pretty well in the end. It has a bit of the Fatal Attraction over the top "What? There's more?" quality toward the end, and the ending drags on a bit after the thrill ride, but, over all, worthwhile.

Sabrina Losio sabrinalosio — Classic. A simple life. Written by a woman from a man's point of view before women were supposed to have their own thoughts. One day I'd like to see the red grass of the Nebraska countryside.

Susan Mccoey _c_oey — Well, I love Mercedes Lackey, and her anthologies are usually pretty awesome too.

Don Bencilao donbenci13 — As Preeta and Michael said, a book to be read slowly. Scibona takes so many risks--with language and most of all with structure: though there is a story underneath, most of the book feels like still portraits, with very little action per se. And yet it all works.

Beatriz Santos beatrizsantos — Some of the stories in this compilation are a bit boring, but on a whole I really enjoyed this book. Of course I loved the stories by Harris and MacAlister, but most of the writers are new to me and a couple of them are going on my wish list.
