Daniel Guerra danwar110 — Okay, I’ll admit that I’m a sucker for a good arranged marriage story. I love it when an author throws two opposite but perfect-for-each-other people into a situation that makes them “hate” each other. All the clashes and fireworks make for a great read. Amy Talbot created two strong and relatable characters to fight and fall-in-love: Vania who is an Australian grade-school teacher and Deven who is an Indian business mogul. They’re from very different cultures but share many of the same values at the core of who they are. I love how skillfully Talbot writes her way into the reader’s heart with this story. The Rajah's Chosen Bride has a great beginning and an even better end.

Maisoun Mais sonalaarts7461 — This is the second in the Dexter series and I found it somewhat more entertaining than the first book. In this one a killer is on the loose slowly chopping up his victims- who as it turns out were those who betrayed them. Naturally Dexter is the one who figures it out The characters are still rather hollow and the book pales in comparison to the richness of the series, but it's still kind of entertaining.

Katie Cannon katelincan3d93 — At times well-written. Other times it just read as vengeful. And I found myself wondering the same thing I wondered about the anorexic's Bible, Wasted : how much more time will this author need to take real responsibility for her addiction and the damage it has caused? How different might this memoir be if written by a 35-year-old, instead of last year's college graduate who's only a few months past the events she narrates? For those forthcoming "memoir of a memoir" volumes, I propose the following titles : Pulverized. Shattered. Smithereened. Whipped. Chopped. Crushed ... oh, wait, those are the settings on my blender.

Federica Negroni negronifederica — In truth I didn't finish the book, I just skimmed the last half. Their premise is like mine, so it was nice to read a similar point of view, but their method is nothing like mine and I found it tedious to read. For anyone that has at least some experience with Reiki but not with Shamanic healing, I would recommend this book. It just wasn't for me.

Ze Valagao zevalagao — More action-packed than the first two, Specials is the kind of ride you want to get off but know you can't until you've experienced all it can offer.

Himanshu Duseja himanshuduseja — A lovely little book and a fast read. The writing style was very pretty and the story was fast paced.

Carlos Canas carloscanas — Disturbing.... Not something to read before bed. A cunning killer disguised as a world re-knowned artist uses actual families as his subjects. Pretty hard stuff.....
