Smartjoint Smartjoint _mart_oint — Not a bad read. It's a really fast read and has some thought provoking moments in it. But overall my thoughts are this: her story is amazing, but the book was just okay. Plus, I wanted to find out what happened to Whitey.

John Ribes johnribes — Massively underrated book in my opinion; one of the most lush, interesting, and operatic books I've ever read. Unsurprisingly, I think I was the only kid in high school who was forced to read the book who liked the book -- but to be fair, I spent a lot of time burning through pages hoping against hope Hester Prynne would pick up a log and beat Arthur to death with it.

Silvio Cruz silviocruz — Amazing. You can expect nothing less from Foer. The characters are so real and distinct. I have a friend who believed Jonathan in the book was a real person until I broke her heart and told him, no, he was fictional. The story line confuses you for a while but it doesn't matter because every word brings you closer to illumination. And he writes so beautifully you can't complain.
