Annika sneaks off to Hollywood in hopes to talk the actor who plays Teen Robin Hood into visiting her brother Jeremy before his surgery. She is certain if Jeremy's hero Steve Raleigh visits her brother than everything will work out. How she gets onto the set of Robin Hood and what she does to get close to Steve Raleigh is pretty funny. But what would you do to save the life of your six year old brother?

Hyejin Kim iamjingx2 — I had been looking forward to starting this series for a long time, and was not disappointed. Very enjoyable. Can't wait to read the next one!

Chris Villano chrisblvd1b95 — perhaps I am biased by my existing fascination with Mary Shelley's life, but I adored this book. it was tragic, wonderful, and inspiring; but not in an awful Chicken Soup for the Soul way. this is the perfect way to find out a bit about the life of Mary Shelley (incidentally, my hero). this is the perfect bit of easy-to-read background after reading Frankenstein.

Brian Wilcher brian_wilcher — I was going into an interview with the author, so I figured I would read his book first. It actually ended up being a really interesting look at the history of hollywood through the eyes of a fictional hollywood power family. Every section is a year during a different decade. It starts with the father and how he was working in film right when TV was coming out. Then it skips ahead to his son and the son's family in Hollywood up to the present day. They do everything - even make a fictional movie about Lincoln with Michael Douglas as the star. All around them are real hollywood legends that you personally get to know. You also get to put in context the advancement of technology and how it has affected the film industry over time and what should have been learned from it. Though it can start slow - hang in there because it gets really good.

Mansour Ismail mansourism27a2 — humm. I was dissappointed with this book, I skipped pages just to get through it. I was expecting more and thought it went on and on. I guess I was just done with this series.
