I'm not a fan of the Titanic movie but I loved Evernight so I wanted to give this a try. (To hold me over until Balthazar comes out if nothing else.) I love Gray's heroines. One of the few female leads that don't upset me to the point of having to put the book down for days and force myself to start up again. I spent most of the book trying NOT to like characters because it was pretty obvious how things were going to end. But that was near impossible, even the bad/evil characters are hard not to like. Bottom Line: Read it.

Easy to read, funny at times, very real and sad. Gives you a whole new perspective on immigration.

Was a good book. I like how it was kid of like cinderella but not too much the same.

I devoured this book. A great mixture of historical and fictional characters and events, at a frantic pace. The clues and treasure hunt for the holy grail and the religious notion this exposes makes this book an absolute must read. Only the retarded gunpoint scene where the bad guy bears all with the good guys keeps this from earning a fifth star.

I listened to this on my roadtrip to Denver. Enthralled with every word! Adorable characters, great history. The audio was especially endearing with the marvelous accents. One of the best books I've read in several years.

This is an interesting and disturbing book about cloning people to raise them for body parts. It raises issues about science, but also about larger issues about life.

Many people love this book, but I did not enjoy it because I had to finish reading it at my 8th grade Universal Studios school trip for a book report. Thus, this Jane Austen classic was ruined for me, forever.

I still can't decide if I like Jodi Picoult as an author yet I must because I keep reading her books. I guess I like that they make me think but they always disturb me too. This one made me really sad because I feel so bad for the main character. Love will do crazy things!

A ride. Filled with truly fantastic ideas, words that actually make you think. Despite a rather original writing frame, despite being chronologically odd, despite being overly childish at times and overly mature at others- I could hardly put it down, hungry for the next scene, the next notion. A book that demands a second read. And a whole webpage devoted to quotes.

The writing style in The Book Thief is so unique. The narrator's point of view was intriguing and interesting all throughout the book. I enjoyed the story and the characters and the history. Very interesting book.
