Just bought this book, so it's going to sit on my bookshelf for a little while. I want to read what Barack Obama is all about, because he seems like a candidate from the two party system that I would actually want to vote for, instead of merely voting for the person I disliked the least.

This was my first real graphic novel. I can see the appeal to teen boys--there were a lot of crude parts. I was really disappointed at the couple of dirty jokes in it, but that might go over some teens heads. Still, it wasn't necessary to the story. Overall I liked the story about being true to yourself and who you are.

I have no idea why, but I absolutely loved this series when I was younger. I did reread some parts of it a couple years ago too and still loved it. I would probably buy this just to keep it on shelf.

Couldn't really warm to Jack and definitely not Lucy. I think I liked the trolls better than any of the human characters in the book... oh! Except for Olaf and Heide. Pretty interesting storyline though.

Texts is a bookstore where things go bump in the night...and in the day. I had high expectations for this one, especially since Nazareth Hill by Campbell is such an excellent read. However, this was barely readable. The lyricism of Nazareth Hill is nowhere to be found in The Overnight and the characters never lived up to their early promise. So disappointing.
