So good. I need some time to think about this. About how my love of science relates to the characters. About how my desire for love is the same as the characters'. When I was asked about what this book was about while reading it, I answered: "Nothing much, but I can't put it down." Now, I can say it's about "Everything important, and I can't put it down." In other words, highly recommended.

This book was good as far as a general overview of English history. It is fairly easy to read, but too often there are names given or events listed with no explanation and with the general assumption that you know what they are referring to. That is frustrating at times, but it generally doesn't take away from your understanding of what is happening. I don't know if that comes from the way Churchill wrote or if is a product of the editing to condense seven books into one. I do which I understood English (Great-Britain's)political system better. Especially towards the end, it would have also made the book easier to read.

Great characters, good story. A lot of swearing, unfortunately. I did this on audiobook, as usual, so I the detailed movie/people references was kind of fun (ever seen Gilmore Girls?).

This book would've been better as a short story. The relationship between the two main characters is beyond creepy. I simply didn't "get" anything from reading it. With every turn of the page, I was desperately wishing the author would dig even further into the psyche of a person suffering from dementia. No payoff, unfortunately.

Hands down, one of the best books I've ever read. It was packed with powerful punches that left me in tears (in a good way.) I'm hesitant about seeing the movie because it can't possibly live up to the book.

I was getting tired of the Aunt Dimity books, but thought that I would give it one more try. It was a quick, fun read that didn't take too much brain power and made me smile a few times. All in all I'd say it was one of the Aunt Dimity books that I actually enjoyed and wouldn't mind reading more of.

Just an OK modern detective story dealing with terrorism in London. Not great, but not bad either. Some of the dialogue is fantastic, and I liked Neate's style, but the story just stalled in several spots. I will probably take a look at some of his other stuff.
