Fanciful and compelling, and culminating in a conclusion that leaves me wondering what really happened in a most satisfying way. Loved it!

this was the first robbins i ever read. i loved this book. the story is ridiculously wonderful. his writing style is light and fast. this is easy and fun stuff. i do love how i was introduced to this book (and to the author). the summer before i moved to dc i was living in oklahoma city, living with my best friend and working for an environmental group going door to door collecting money and signatures. we usually traveled from okc to tulsa which also meant a meal on the road. one particular day this new guy was sitting watching all of us eat lunch. i asked why he wasn't eating, and he just mumbled something about not having any money. so, i bought him lunch. the next day, he brought me a copy of this book as thanks. i still have that copy...(i wish i could remember his name.)

Recomendado.

Read them all when i was a teenager, and then later I read them to my children who are late now 20s and early 30s. I love that they're making movies of them, and I love all CS Lewis books.

Slow read but i really like how it closed up by going back to their first night of meeting and how it all began. Lot of good quotes in it, too. :)

The first half of the book was a really hard read for me, I didn't enjoy it but forced myself to go on. The second half of the book I loved and now I can't wait to read the next.

This book was so difficult for me to get into! With a new baby arriving in my home right after I started the book, I actually found myself with just no time (or energy) to sit and read. I gave up so many times but finally found a good block of time to dive in and get through the slow parts. Everyone said it was good and that the story picks up and boy did it! Once the characters and locations were established and built up, everything moved along faster. I loved loved loved the Salander character and she made everyone else interesting when she was in the scene, so any part she was involved in had me hooked. Overall, the different components were really fascinating to me - solving a mystery, dealing with gore and insanity, and then having two unlikely companions form a close & unique relationship. It's a great read - just make sure you have the time (and patience) to get through the first half. The second half is worth it.

I am enjoying the sequel as much as the first one! I always enjoy tales of strong women.

Considering this was a book that I hadn't even chosen myself (my girlfriend thrust it at me in the library knowing that I like the author). It's a good story, not a classic, but you really want to know what happens to the main character. A good read.
One of the best books I've ever read...

Diziyi genel olarak sevdim, hayal gücü zaman zaman bunaltıcıydı, 5'in hepsini okudu ve her birini sevdi, Bay Adams yetenekli bir tuhaf yazardı, keşke daha fazla devamı olsaydı.
