This is the fourth time I have read this book and it was just as good. This is my kind of apocalyptic book. I love the characters and am invested in the story pretty much right away.

Truly a FABULOUS children's book! Judi Chesshir has an eye for what will catch the children's attention! My daughter keeps asking me to read it over, and over. My Finny Fin Fin is TRULY an unforgettable under the sea adventure! YOUR KIDS WILL LOVE IT!!!!

This is a book that really stands the test of time. I loved it as a kid and recently revisited it as a source for a research paper I did on virtual museums. I love the details about the way the two kids handle the everyday-ness of running away!

I found the reviews of this book to be muchmore entertaining than the book itself. There are some funny people out there. However, the book itself wasn't that bad. Yes, the group of friends having the serious discussion is quite cheesy, but it does say that chapter is optional. As for the story itself, it is just a quick reminder to stop being a ig baby and do something about it!

The writing is so beautiful, I found myself reading passages over and over, not to improve my understanding but just because it was so lyrical. The story is also absolutely beautiful.

I really enjoyed this prequel to the acclaimed Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood (though this is actually the third novel she wrote on this group of characters). It lacked some of the drama and shocking scenes of the other two books, but was more warm and funny.

I can't say this wasn't a good book, but the ending is a total cop-out. It's scary how real the situation seems, and I can completely see it happening. The beginning was slow, but it really picks up and I was moved to tears at one point, which never happens to me.

this whole collection of short stories about Prof Dr Moritz-Maria von Igelfeld tickles me. especially if you 1) work in academia in any way and 2) read it with the voice of john cleese in your head.
