This book forever changed my views of colonialism and what is "right" for developing countries...

A good mystery which becomes a classic by containing quite possibly the greatest twist every read in a mystery novel. I love Dame Agatha. I will read a bad Agatha Christe book over a good almost anyone else book. Brilliant stuff.

really like the stories about new immigrants, of which there are many
blech. overwritten. overly symbolic. altogether too much. like her politics, though, and hey, i'll give this next novel an open mind.

Half a book and still twice as entertaining as anything I´ve read in the past few years. Having stumbled upon the songs of ice and fire recently I luckily avoided having to wait some 6 odd years for the second half of this fourth installment in the series but my heart goes out to all those patient fans who waited and waited. Telling the stories of half the characters (and not even the most interesting of characters at that) this installment offers up some amazing levels of intrigue. Martin gives a close look at the minds of the Lannisters and the court at Kings Landing after Tywins untimely death. Cersei becomes ever more hungry for power and unleashes one bad decision after another while Jaimes´ lack of a sword hand forces him to take a closer look at who he has become and who he wants to be. With sprinkles from Briennes´ search for Sansa, Dornes anger at the loss of prince Oberyn and Sansas stay with treacherous Petyr Littlefinger A feast for Crows should leave everyone hungering for more.

Okay I am in between 2 stars and 3. I read The Lake House and I thought this was the sequel. It was a spinoff. It was the same main character, but that is where it ended. So the first couple of chapters were extremely frustrating because I wanted to know what happened next from the Lake House. It was like taking Bella Swan and keeping her Bella Swan, but she had no idea who Edward or Jacob was. So that's where my 2 stars comes from. When I could finally get into the book I liked it. It held my attention enough that I wanted to keep reading it, it was funny, and I think I would let Aubree read it when she's in 6th grade. Their were some parts that tended to repeat themselves which got annoying..Note to author: "Yes I know the charcters have superhuman strength! I get it! You don't have to keep telling me!!"
Argentinian writer with many voices, much sadism. Unique stories and a small but worthy introduction by the author.

Not the best-written novel of all time, but one of my favorites of all time!

This is a very nice bio on JTT. It's filled with nice photographs of the young actor. I do like that it includes the normal things in his life and the things he's struggled with. It is out of date though so remember that as you're reading it.
